The PowerFlex 4 Class of drives consists of two products, the PowerFlex 4 and PowerFlex 40. Ideal for machine level speed control, these products provide the application versatility to meet the demands of global OEMs and end users who require flexibility, space savings and ease of use.
PowerFlex 4

Available in power ratings from 0.2 to 3.7 kW and in voltage classes of 120, 230 and 400 volts, the PowerFlex 4 is designed to meet global OEM and end-user demands for flexibility, space savings and ease-of-use.
The PowerFlex 4 is a cost-effective alternative for speed control of applications such as machine tools, fans, pumps, conveyors and material handling systems.

PowerFlex 40
Suitable for applications up to 11 kW, the PowerFlex 40 features sensorless vector control to meet low speed torque demands, which helps improve application performance and maintains uptime.
The compact drive is the latest addition to the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex family, a comprehensive line of AC drives ranging from 0.2 to 6750 kW.
With flexible packaging options and an uncomplicated programming structure that is common to the PowerFlex 4 class of AC drives, the PowerFlex 40 can be quickly and easily installed and configured for a variety of applications. The drive provides customers with a number of options and features that are not typically available at the microdrive level.
